Creative from an early age, Brooke is a self taught painter from Brisbane Australia.

 

A commercial interior designer for the majority of her career, Brooke left the corporate world in 2016 to invest her time and energy into her talent for painting. In March of 2017 Brooke taught herself to paint with oils after previously painting only in acrylic. She then went on to paint a number of commissions before deciding in 2019 to focus solely on developing her own series.

Being self taught, Brooke takes the view that her paintings are the markers of her growth in both technique and commerce. Her strengths lie in patience, layering and detail. She is passionate about colour, textiles, lighting and design. Brooke's style is emerging as photorealism, with a preference for subjects that give a feeling of motion and movement.

With a love of the ocean, travelling and adventure, Brooke is also a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and photographer. She hopes to bring inspiration and happiness to all that view her work
